I would like to elucidate my reading

of reductionism which differs somewhat

from what is understood by it in the

philosophical sense.

Many technical philosophical terms explaining

very abstract concepts acquired quite different

meanings after entering the venacular,sometimes

a significance diametrically opposite to what was

originally meant by it.

Like realism or realistic.

This originates in platonic philosophy.

From the Latin res [= object, thing, matter]

The Platonists held that nothing can be

in reality before existing first as an idea.

Res post universalia   [object after notion]

While Nominalists said exactly the opposite

Res ante universalia  [object before notion]

Tangible objects precede the idea formed of them.

In ordinary language, being realistic is understood

to be closer to the nominalist opinion in the

philosophical sense than the realistic/platonic one.

Reductionism means something else in the

abstract philosophical sense than what I

understand it to be in the conceptual meaning

and when designing utilitarian objects.

Moreover,I ceased to be multilingual on

one single blogsite.

Things are confusing enough as it is,we

are not going to add to the confusion by

bursting out in different languages whenever

the need [or bad digestion] occasions it.

For Dutch language entries the reader is hereby
